FAQ’s

  • Q: Do you clean difficult to reach areas on properties, like for example, the velux windows in my roof, or my Dormer style windows.
  • A: Most likely, yes. Our vans carry telescoptic poles that can reach almost any window on your property
  • Q: My home is a Listed, grade 2 property. Are they any windows on this that you cannot clean?
  • A: No, not really. The only glass, and this would include older style properties too, that we would warn caution on are those with individual lead-light panes. The reason for this is that they can sometimes, even with the lightest pressure placed upon them, leak. The panes of glass are set in Lead, and dirt build-up, over time, often makes them water-tight. By then dislodging this dirt during cleaning, water ingress can occur. It does not always happen of course, but a customer should be made aware of this possibility. Usually, should a slight leak occur, then the operator would notice and offer to call inside the property -if the customer is at home of course – to wipe and remove any water ingress.
  • Q:My home has a conservatory with windows above it which cannot be reached via a ladder, can you still clean those?
  • A: More often than not, yes. If there is a pane than simply cannot be reached, then we would offer to clean it from the inside instead.
  • Q:My conservatory roof is very dirty and covered in a green algae type susbstance, can you remove that?
  • A: Yes, we can. In such instances, we would likely use a detergent to loosen the dirt and then scrub the roof and rinse, etc to clean it. If your roof is made from polycarbonate, then sometimes the lower seals on the pane can fail with then allows water to creep up inside the small tubes that comprise the pane. We cannot remove this dirt as it is contained inside these tubes.
  • Q: Can you call in to clean my windows if it is raining?
  • A: Yes. The majority of properties have sufficient eave overhang which tend to protect your windows from rainwater. Our process includes a resin mix to the pure water which we feel helps protect your glass from soiling from rainwater. That said, we do not attempt to clean if the rain is very heavy and or ,if there are strong winds present.
  • Q: I am away from home most of the time, will you still call in?
  • A: Yes. We contact our customers prior to our visit so that you know we are due to call. All we ask is that you leave any locked side gates, etc undone. We can, if required, re-lock a padlock etc after we have finished work. If you have electric gates, then you can entrust us with the security code so that we can let ourselves in and out.
  • Q: How should I pay you once the work is complete?
  • A: We offer an on-line payment facility, where we would leave an invoice which has all the necessary bank details upon it, together with our postal address for sending payment. Or, you may leave payment in a pre-arranged designated spot for us to collect, whichever is the most convenient for you. Commercial customers may apply for a credit account too.
  • Q: Can you make your invoice out to our business address?
  • A: Yes we can. many of our customers run their business from home, etc so we understand the need for an invoice made out to a company.
  • Q: I would like to arrange a site visit for a quotation but I’m seldom at home to greet you, what are my options?
  • A: You could send us detailed images of the work required, or, perhaps arrange for a neighbour to allow us access. Images may be sent to our email address.
  • Q: Do you offer any discounts for multiple site work, like say, a block of flats?
  • A: Often, yes. It would be subject to certain conditions. Please enquire for more details.
  • Q:What areas do you cover?
  • A: We cover most parts of Kent, and it’s East Sussex Borders, down to the Thanet coast.
